Araksa Tea Garden is a tea plantation located in the foothills of the Banchang Forest, in the Mae Taeng district of Chiang Mai, Thailand. Situated at an elevation of 520 meters and spanning 111 acres, this boutique tea garden is dedicated to producing high-quality organic tea. It is also the first tea garden in Thailand to hold organic certification for both its farm and factory under U.S. and European Union standards.
This place is part of the country’s tea history. For over a decade, the plants have grown without exposure to pesticides or chemical fertilizers. After lying fallow for more than 15 years, the garden was revived in 2014 and renamed Araksa. Today, it is flourishing once again as a thriving project that produces high-quality organic tea leaves.
